This is the 4th year that Stageworks has designed the TNQ Tourism Awards. The growth of the awards saw a change in the room layout, as 600 guests were entertained throughout the evening. It saw the addition of two large size screens (a total of three) being installed for better viewing by all. Classic tones of black and white were adopted to create a classy look of yesteryear. The centrepieces were specially designed for the awards featuring ostrich feathers and mini Lycra columns, stretched high above the heads of the guests.

Wendy Kennedy, host of Win Television's travel program, "Destinations" compared the evening. The TV show featured award nominees, winners and the awards evening, which recently aired throughout Australia showcasing some of Cairns and Tropical North Queensland's amazing attractions. The Cairns Convention Centre's fine cuisine drew on the flavours of the north and local band Hipfidelity kept guests entertained well into the evening.

It's always a challenge to wow an industry audience. Stageworks are proud to be associated with the TNQ Tourism Awards and as always have received wonderful feedback on the success of the evening.
