Sunlover Holiday Incentive - Sunlover Stars 2002

Stageworks Australia was chosen as the event management and production company to stage all three social evening events for the Sunlover Stars 2002 Incentive Program in Cairns during March.

The first night was a gala awards dinner at the Novotel Palm Cove Resort to honour the top 10 travel agents for Sunlover Holidays. Our brief for the room was simple…. Lycra, trendy, modern and funky - a touch of class with a dash of style and lots of fun.

The second night was out on Quicksilver's Agincourt Reef pontoon! A theme highlighting the colours of the reef was adopted to enhance the pontoon. The water was illuminated for nightime viewing of the reef as the Calypso band and DJ ensured the vibe was just right Stageworks added colourful flags, lighting, table wraps and flexilighting to the pontoon's structure along with sound equipment and lighting to complete the look.

The grand finale at the Cairns International Hotel was truly the 'night of nights'. A program of entertainment, colour, excitement and comedy was experienced by guests as they 'dressed for the part' in sensational costumes, adding to the overall experience. Guests enjoyed french flavours and five star services throughout the evening. Stageworks included rich burgundy and royal blue draping, feathers, the elephant, a huge stage, a hand painted backdrop along with a sensational lighting design and sound for the show.
