As the in-house audiovisual and themeing supplier at the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas, Stageworks Australia designed and produced a memorable gala dinner experience to show guests just what can be achieved in this unique meeting venue.

...to this! A Classic dining setting to allure and spoil your guests.

The event was designed to showcase the size of the Glade and also provide a dramatic, yet intimate setting for the 60 VIP guests that attended. Utilising candelabras for atmosphere and checkered flooring for contrast along with state of the art lighting and sound, the setting was surrounded by over 50 black theatrical drapes, special gold gilded frames and rich burgundy velvet drapes, to provide a ' perfect picture ' setting for the entertainment employed by Stageworks. Solo performances by a flautist, harpist, saxophonist and string quartet provided specially designed musical arrangements for each course of the 5-course meal, complimenting each dish perfectly.

The Glade Pavilion at the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas is the largest conference facility in Australia's tropical north. The Glade is an 850-person pillarless conference venue by day, lavish themed events stage by night.
